This beast of a car was recently mentioned by James May in one of the latest episodes of The Grand Tour. Kia has launched their new luxury car the Stinger, described by Kia as a “four-door fastback. The new Stringer is to go up against the likes of the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe and Audi’s A5 Sportback.
The 365bhp 3.3-litre petrol engine is the fastest engine Kia has ever offered, covering the 0 to 60mph sprint in just 4.7 seconds which is a great new achievement for Kia! Alternatively, you can choose from other two engines which are the 244bhp 2-litre turbocharged petrol or the 197bhp 2.2-litre diesel. Both engine choices will be offered exclusively with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and rear-wheel drive.
All models come with an 8-inch infotainment screen with an integrated sat-nav with TomTom sourced traffic and speed camera location data. The Stinger comes fully loaded and some of the features include heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel, blind spot monitors, autonomous emergency braking and much more.
As standard, the vehicle will come with a 7-year warranty from new and will offer options to extend from your local dealer. Kia has done a great job with this car and it will definitely give its competitors a run for their money!
